BARTLETT, IL, April 9, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Virginia Romano, Executive Director for Stalking Victims Network, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of her career.
As the executive director for Stalking Victims Network, Ms. Romano is responsible for the development of communication, support for victims, and creating awareness related to organized stalking and rape. Ms. Romano has worked with legislators in various states to gain public support and legislative awareness of this hateful crime. Ms. Romano is a leading advocate for the victims of this crime. Her personal experience as a victim and survivor of organized stalking has led her to develop an organization to fight this crime and to bring about public awareness. Ms. Romano attributes her success to her ability to communicate and understand what targets/victims of this crime have suffered. Ms. Romano has provided a videotape for our United States Congress and has presented this to a full Congressional hearing.
Ms. Romano received her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior, with a minor in Business from Northwestern University. She is pursuing her Master of Information Technology in Software Engineering and is a Correspondent and Host for The Edge Television Broadcast.
